This Tuesday Rouane’s side host Crawley Down Gatwick at Culver Road, in our fourth league match of the season, following Saturday’s 1-0 away win at East Preston, as we made it 3 of 3 wins in the league.

Crawley sit a place above the Lancers having also won 3 of 3, including an opening-day victory away at Saltdean United; Tuesday will be a good test for Naim’s young side on home turf, which is bound to be a good watch.

Here is a re-cap of our results so far in the SCFL:

  • Eastbourne United 1 – 2 Lancing
  • Lancing 3 – 2 Horley Town
  • East Preston 0 – 1 Lancing

And here is how Tuesday night’s visitors have also done thus far:

  • Saltdean United 0 – 2 Crawley Down Gatwick
  • Steyning Town 2 – 3 Crawley Down Gatwick
  • Loxwood 3 – 4 Crawley Down Gatwick

Both of us have been knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup early on, with the Lancers bowing out to Egham Town, and Crawley losing 2-0 to Newhaven in their Extra Preliminary Round tie. With two good starts to the season, both sides will be looking to continue their winning ways tomorrow night, particularly in what will be Crawley’s 4th consecutive away fixture!

Kick-off is 7:45pm – turnstiles open at 6:15pm.
