Rouane’s side travel to Gander Green Lane on Saturday, to take on Sutton Common Rovers in the Buildbase FA Vase Third Round Proper Replay.

The Lancers were unlucky not to progress into the fourth round last Saturday, conceding a 93rd minute goal to make it 2-2, before Sutton went 3-2 ahead early in extra-time, before a magnificent header from Liam Hendy secured a 3-3 draw to take the tie to a replay this weekend.

Tuesday night was a tough match for the Lancers, with a 7-0 defeat to Division 2 side Crawley Town, against a physical and well-trained side under an interim-head coach who was looking to impress against the young Lancers side. Rouane’s side will be looking to bounce back in the Vase Saturday, and overcome the seasonal injuries which tend to creep in at this time of year within the squad. Sutton managed to postpone their mid-week fixture in preparation for Saturday, so they are sure to be up for the fixture too.

The winners of Saturday’s Third Round Replay will face an away trip to Christchurch FC in the Fourth Round Proper of the competition – on Saturday 11th January 2020 in Dorset – more information can be found here.

A coach will be taking our players, management, officials & some supporters to Sutton on Saturday.

Cost is £10 per seat for the journey – the coach will depart Culver Road at 11:15am.

Please park cars either in the club car park, Doctor’s Surgery or the local pay & display car parks as normal.
