The first team take part in a mental health discussion – November 2019

Championing mental health awareness & guidance at Lancing Football Club.

We were pleased to participate in the annual Time to Talk Week for our first team matches against East Preston & Lingfield at Culver Road last week.

The week is one of many initiatives Lancing Football Club is promoting as part of our ‘You’re Not In This Alone’ campaign which launched last season, introduced by Vice-Chairman, Barry Sutton.

So far this has seen the club raise over £1,000 for CALM, funds for our local Mind Lancing branch, taking part in the Time to Talk Week, launching a pan-disability squad, funding coaching badges for local people who suffer from mental health issues, hosting a guest speaker on mental health for our first team mens squad, offering leaflets with guidance at Culver Road, and our continued commitment to offer anyone suffering from a mental health issue FREE entry to any Lancing FC match.

Our thanks to all those who took away leaflets & joined in our Time to Talk week. If you wish to enquire about any of our initiatives, including requesting free entry for a mental health condition please email info@lancingfc.co.uk – we will treat your enquiry with the appropriate confidentiality.
