Following two bye’s in the previous rounds due to last season’s cup success, the Lancers first team will take on Reading City in the first round proper Halloween tie.

Founded in 2001, and members of the Hellenic League Premier Division, ‘The Cityzens’ rebranded in 2018 and will be looking to progress past the first round of the competition for what could be the first time in their relatively short club history.

Former Lancers goalkeeper, Tyler D’Cruz, is currently star-striker for the Cityzens side following a hat-trick which saw Reading beat Woodley United 3-2 in order to secure their place in the first round of the competition.

We’ll be travelling to The Rivermoor Stadium, Reading, for a 3pm kick-off with live updates provided throughout the match.

Separate team and committee coaches have been organised in line with COVID-19 protocols.
