Football is due to return on 29 March in line with updated guidance & protocols.
Our league season’s have been curtailed, however squads can return to training from 29 March, and our first team will be hoping to compete in the FA Vase and a mini-league.
The first team’s Buildbase FA Vase campaign remains active, and we hope to play our scheduled Vase fixture on 17 April subject to government and FA updates.
Until the 29 March, please continue to closely follow the lockdown restrictions. Our safeguarding team continue to be available to any members requiring support.
In the week before the return, all club members will be contacted via email or Whatsapp with updated COVID-19 guidance, and this will be circulated via social media.
Currently spectators will not be permitted to any sessions at Culver Road, however we will share the latest government guidance nearer the time we are due to return.
We look forward to welcoming all squads back!
The FA update reads:
“We welcome the UK Government’s update today regarding the Covid-19 roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions which means we can look forward to the safe return of grassroots football from 29 March for both adults and children.
With this new clarity around timings, we will continue to work with Government on plans for a safe return for grassroots football across England and will communicate updated guidance as soon as we can.”
