Walsh and Louis’ squad make the trip to Crayford in South-East London this weekend in Pitching In Isthmian League action.

Saturday’s opponents, VCD Athletic, sit at a comfortable 8th in the table. 21 points from 15 played, places them in the top half.

The Lancers begin to eagerly search for 3 points to get back to winning ways following a run of draws and defeats in the league. The performances have been largely consistent, and improvements are being made each week as the club, and team, still adjusts to the new Isthmian life. Being able to pick up points before Christmas would see the lads well into the new year, and ensure that they move up the table to avoid the scramble at the bottom.

Kick-off is 3pm at Old Road, Crayford. Coach departs Lancing at 10.30 – tickets to be shown to Terry prior to arrival and face masks to be worn at all times on the coach in line with new restrictions. The club will provide hand sanitisers and anti-bac wipes at the front of the coach.
