Join us on Saturday 26 March as the Lancers host VCD Athletic at Culver Road.

Our fixture falls on the prestigious Non-League Day – expect ‘pay as you like’ entry, free entry for Under-18s, a bake sale in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, our special guest Bob Smytherman – Lancing Town Crier, plus all the usual you’d expect from a non-league match – including a tannoy which sometimes sounds more like a UFO-landing, proper paperback programme, bar shared by players & supporters alike, greasy burger and chips, cheap pints, and a great atmosphere.

With no Russian oligarchs, no Saudi Prince’s and no large investment, non-league relies solely on local people and local businesses – we’re encouraging all local residents to come and show their support on Saturday and enjoy a game of Isthmian League football at our stadium in the heart of the village.

Proper football, proper people, proper food, proper beer, proper atmosphere, proper ground, well, you get the gist.

Here’s a low-down on all we’re doing to encourage as much local support as possible this weekend:

  • ‘Pay as you like’ entry via cash & card
  • Under-18s get free entry
  • Our special guest, Bob Smytherman, Lancing Town Crier
  • A newly-revamped matchday programme on sale
  • Bake sale by the turnstile and hospitality suite
  • Cakes, badges & wristbands on sale for Prostate Cancer UK
  • Prostate Cancer UK leaflets and guidance available for all

This year’s chosen charity partner for Non-League Day is Prostate Cancer UK.

We have teamed up with the charity to offer information leaflets, posters, banners and balloons, plus donation tins available with wristbands and pin badges on sale for £2. All proceeds go towards supporting their vital work.

We’ll also be hosting a bake sale with plenty of cake on offer for supporters to purchase – all proceeds to charity.

So, there’s no excuse – with no Premier League on TV, come and support your local club, run by a close-knit group of volunteers, and home to a highly successful men’s first team. Updates will be available online throughout the match for those unable to come and show their support.

See you there!
