The extended Easter bank holiday weekend culminates in Isthmian League action on Monday afternoon as the Lancers host the U’s.

Following a defeat on the road against Phoenix Sports on Saturday, Walsh and Louis will be keen to boost morale and look to give the bumper home crowd an entertaining display. With fixtures against Hastings and Whitstable being the only two remaining matches to play, any points will be valuable in the fight to stay up. This final stretch is bound to be nervy for all parties involved at Lancing, but with the right direction and motivation, we know that the squad is capable of picking up the essential points. We’re all rooting for them to stay up.

Hastings join us having been crowned deserved league-champions and having beaten a strong VCD Athletic side on Saturday. We look forward to welcoming the U’s and to celebrating their achievement with a guard of honour before kick-off.
