Centre Back Kyle Sim, 24, joins us from nearby Broadbridge Heath. Sim helped the bears to win the Southern Combination Premier Division title last year and reach the RUR Cup Final. Sim is well known for his imposing style and physicality standing at 6ft 5. He was part of one of the meanest defences in the division last season that managed to keep an incredible 26 clean sheets!

Manager Dave Altendorff welcomed the arrival of Sim and had this to say about the player:

“Kyle is someone I’ve watched on many occasions and I’ve always been a huge admirer of his game. He is powerful, aggressive, brave and will be a real asset to the team in both penalty boxes. Kyle also has unbelievable leadership qualities and I’m certain he will have a positive impact on the dressing room environment and fit in extremely well with the group. For Kyle to pick up Manager’s Player of the year in 2022 and then Player’s Player of the year in 2023 for such a successful BBH side tells you all you need to know about how highly regarded he is by his team mates and I also know how much strikers hate to play against him. I am personally absolutely delighted that he’s agreed to come on board”.
