Harry Heath has joined Lancing FC from neighbours Shoreham for the 2023/24 campaign.

Heath was the top scorer in in the league last year with 27 goals, helping Shoreham to promotion back to Step 5 in the Southern Combination Premier Division.

Manager Dave Altendorff had this to say:

β€œHarry is a player I’ve known for some time having worked with him previously at Newhaven. I didn’t think he would be available this Summer but having spoken to Shoreham manager Michael Death it became apparent that he is ambitious and wants to make the next step up in his career. I think we can consider ourselves incredibly lucky to secure his signature as there were a number of other clubs after him so I am delighted that he has chosen to test himself at Lancing and compete for a place in the side with the other exciting forward players we have brought in already. This to me shows the level of ambition he has and is testament to his strong character. Heath can play in any of the forward positions and will bring pace, energy, work rate and an eye for goal to the squad. I’m really looking forward to working with him again. I also want to thank β€˜Deathy’ at Shoreham who has become a good friend after coaching my own kids on Saturday mornings (which he is brilliant at by the way). He has been incredibly supportive with this move and has done an unbelievable job with Shoreham too”.
