Following our hard fought but deserved victory over Littlehampton it is time to look ahead to the coming week. Tomorrow (Monday) the Under 18s travel to Kingstonian as they look to build on the 3-1 win over Billingshurst and 7-0 win against Redhill to progress to the next round of the FA Youth Cup. Kingstonian are unbeaten this season but anyone who witnessed the performance of the U18s in the last round will know the hosts are in for a tough game!

Bingo returns to Culver Road on Friday as our callers Terry and Brian have both returned from holiday. The night is open to everyone from 7.15pm at the ground with cash prizes, a raffle and a great night out.

Next Saturday sees another home league match with a 3pm kick off, this time against Sevenoaks who sit just one point and five places above us in 6th place. It promises to be a cracker. We do find ourselves without a match sponsor for this game so if you fancy sponsoring this game for £50 please get in touch with Barry by emailing barrystgermain1@gmail.com

Finally the programme on Saturday will feature a very special article. Former Tiger and Roy of the Rovers editor Barrie Tomlinson has agreed to write an exclusive article for this programme which you won’t be able to read anywhere else so if you want to find out why Alf Ramsey didn’t pick Roy Race for the 1966 World Cup squad then get yourself a copy on Saturday. Our thanks to Barrie for agreeing to do this for us, it is a fascinating read.
