Firstly some fixture news. Our home game against Hythe Town on December 9th has been postponed due to their ongoing involvement in the FA Trophy. That game has been rearranged for Tuesday 16th January at 7.45pm and we wish Hythe well in their continuing campaign. We have advertised for a friendly on that date but there will be very few teams without a game already so we may not have much luck. We will try again to play Beckenham on Tuesday (28th November) and the weather looks like it is going to play fair this time and stay dry! We are waiting to hear back from East Grinstead on the rearranged date there and will let everyone know once we have that date. One final thing, there has been a change to the kick off time for the Boxing Day match against Burgess Hill, that is now at 1pm.

We are running a supporters coach to Ashford and have 8 spaces still remaining if anyone is interested in joining us. We will leave Culver Road at around 10.30am (tbc). Please let Barry know if you would like to book a spot. The cost will be no more than £30.

Saturday we face third placed Sittingbourne in the league at Culver Road. This will, undoubtedly, be a tough test so we will need your support – I hope to see as many of you there as possible. Our newest international, Knory Scott, should be back from international duty (how far has this club come that we are saying that?) and new signing Eliot Jenks will also be available for selection. For those of you who didn’t spot it, Knory came on as substitute in both of Bermuda’s matches during this international break. Our congratulations to Knory.

Finally just a reminder that we are still looking for a new club treasurer. If we are unable to find a volunteer then we will be forced to hire someone to do the role and, I’m sure you’ll agree, we would rather spend our money progressing the club on and off the pitch
