Last time against Sheppey United, who we faced at Holm Park, we unfortunately lost by 3 goals to nil back in September. Dave Wilmott’s report is available on our website.
Last time out against Ashford United we came back from 3-1 down at half time to win 4-3, goals coming from
Tyrone Madhani (29′)
Charlie Bennet (59′)
Lukas Franzen-Jones (80′ pen)
Charlie Pitcher (90+’)
Last weekend our opponents faced East Grinstead Town and they beat them by 3 goals to nil. On Tuesday they visited Littlehampton Town and won by 6 goals to nil.
As it stands:
Sheppey sit 5th with 25 points from 16 games whilst Lancing are 8th with 22 points from 13 games
Lancing currently sit 5th in the attendance ladder with an average of 283 home fans whilst Sheppey United’s away average sees the Ites with an average away attendance of 282. As we know from last season Sheppey have a good travelling support, making plenty of noise behind the goal.
With Santa visiting Culver Road, we are hoping for a large number of under 16s in attendance at Culver Road on Saturday afternoon. Not only are under 16s free, the first 100 get a selection pack courtesy of sponsors South Link with thanks also to Tina and Brendan from Lancing FC youth.
This weekends match sponsor is Emilia Hamilton and all of us at Lancing would like to wish her a happy birthday for this weekend.
