Saturday saw defender Nic D’Arienzo make his debut for the Lancers following his move from Burgess Hill in the week. Nic can play centre back or left back and was previously with Haywards Heath and Lewes as well as turning out for the Lancers in the County League. He is a great acquisition who will strengthen the back line during the run in.

Leaving the club is Harry Heath who has moved along the coast to Littlehampton. Harry has found minutes hard to come by in recent weeks and so has decided to get some playing time in at The Sportsfield. Manager Dave Altendorff described Harry as ‘a top man and a good player who will be missed enormously.’ We’re sure we will see Harry in a Lancing hat again at some point.
