Regrettably at our game at Broadbridge Heath a smoke bomb was let off by one of, what appeared to be, our supporters. This has, unsurprisingly, resulted in the club being under investigation and could result in disciplinary action being taken against us. Lancing FC wish to be 100% clear. Pyrotechnics, which includes flares, smoke bombs and fireworks, are strictly banned from all football grounds and anyone found in possession or using these devices faces a club ban and may be reported to the police. It is illegal to bring these devices into stadiums and anyone caught possessing or using pyrotechnics could end up with a permanent criminal record. The message from the FA and Lancing FC is clear: pyrotechnics put people at risk and are not welcome in football stadiums. If you are found to do so we will take the strongest possible action.
