This Saturday we are holding a collection for The Globe Primary School to collect seeds, bulbs and other outdoor things. We will have a collection space just inside the turnstile for supporters to drop off their donations.
Dani Salvage, head of Key Stage 2 at The Globe Primary said ‘We’re really having a big push of our outdoor space and we’re developing our Wild Woods area, veg patches and general outdoor space. We’re just looking for things for outside so bulbs, seeds, flowers any spare outdoor paint, any old bird houses etc. As a school we really want to push outdoor learning and we’ve rejuvenated our Wild Wood Learning but we have so much around the school that could do we sprucing up. So any donations are more than welcome.’
Lancing FC Chairman Barry Sutton said ‘We are delighted to help one of our local schools in this fantastic project so anything our supporters have that could be used by the pupils of The Globe Primary will be really appreciated. Outdoor learning is such an important part of school life so please bring along anything you may have that would help.’
