Ashford United, nicknamed the Nuts and Bolts, visit Culver Road tomorrow in our final home game of the season. With the playoffs now out of reach the Lancers will be looking to finish as high up in the table as possible and finish the season on a high, looking to consolidate that sixth place. Our visitors sit in 11th and arrive having lost their last three games, the latest of which was a 2-1 defeat away at Horndean on Tuesday whereas Lancing have won one and drawn two of their last three.
The reverse fixture at The Homelands was one to remember, the Lancers coming from 3-1 down to win 4-3 in the fog before a delighted travelling contingent, Charlie Pitcher getting a 90th minute winner.
Before the game our Under 15s will be parading the Challenge Cup they recently won. A reminder that it is Bingo tonight, doors open at 7pm with eyes down at 7.45pm
Following our game Culver Road will host the RUR Cup final between Haywards Heath and Horsham YMCA with entry for adults £8, concessions £6 and children are £2.
