It is great to be able to start mentioning the club playing football

We have played all our friendly games. The work Dean, Steve and Ryan have done has been fantastic in testing circumstances but we have a squad together that I am sure all you fans will welcome. Players that want to play for this club and will give their all. Return your support whatever the result. The players will give their best, 100%.

The support we have had for all the friendlies has been outstanding and really appreciated by the club, on and off the pitch. We are now looking forward on the Road to Wembley with our home Emirates FA Cup match against Crawley Down Gatwick on Saturday 2nd August, 3pm kick off. It would be great to see as many of you here as possible to cheer on the lads, they need your support.

Games will be coming thick and fast and it is good to have the football back and why all the committee have been working so hard over the past few weeks.

The whole club has come together with the community around Lancing to push us going forward. The commercial team of John Dale, Sarah Riddles and Mark Stuart have been amazing.

We have found new sponsors, previous sponsors have returned and with our regulars that have supported the club for years, I thank you all. Please if all our supporters, businesses, individuals have an opportunity to use our Sponsors and show them the support back that would be fantastic it is a two way thing. Look at the names and logos in the programme and around the pitch on the advertising boards, these are the companies that help keep the club going. To many to mention them all here now but I will thank them all personally.

We have fulfilled our obligations with the players from last season from an individual donation that allowed us to clear the way and move forward, it was a massive help. Thank you

The GoFundMe donations has gone over £2000 this has helped us set up our 3 x U18 teams. The Railway Pub raised £753 doing a raffle to support the club, thank you Chris and Iryna, again great of the community of Lancing.

I feel very positive for the club and team moving forward. It will take time to get it right on the pitch. The management team are starting from scratch so get behind the lads and show your support, be positive give them the good vibes for the future don’t dwell on the negatives of the past season. It is a new season and one that the whole community of Lancing can look forward to, no guarantee of results but I can guarantee that the club will be doing everything it can to make it successful on and off the pitch. It’s not just about winning, it is also how it is achieved. The pathway for all young footballers is here to move through the age groups, nothing will give me more satisfaction then seeing Lancing boys playing for the first team at Culver Road. We have 3 U18 teams what a great opportunity they all have. I would love to add a Reserve Team, U23 Team, Veterans Team, Womans and Girls Teams and even Disability team and really have football for everyone in a Lancing shirt but as we know the SCFA ground is so popular we just cannot get enough time on the pitch.

Get behind the team, Up the Lancers
