Rouane’s side continue their short break from league action on Tuesday night, as they travel to Hassocks for their second round tie in the Sussex Senior Cup at The Beacon.

Following Saturday’s fantastic second-half performance & FA Vase victory away at Frenford, the Lancers will be looking to progress in the Senior cup too, with another away tie.

Our hosts on Saturday have had an unusual poor start to their league season, sitting in 18th place of 20 teams, with just 7 points from 11 matches. The Lancers beat Hassocks 2-1 in the league on a Bank Holiday Monday morning back in August, thanks to 2 goals from super-sub Alex Fair. You can view the match report here.

The Yellows beat Saltdean United 3-1 at Culver Road in the previous round, with a convincing victory at Culver Road – a trip to The Beacon will be another good test for Rouane’s side.
