This weekend we welcome the players, management, fans and club officials from Ramsgate to Culver Road. The Rams currently sit on top of the table only being defeated twice all season by East Grinstead Town and Merstham.
Just a reminder to all supporters that the annual Race Night takes place this Saturday in the bar after the match against Ramsgate. Those who have been before will confirm what a great night it is and this year promises to be no different. There is also a giant raffle this year with 40 prizes up for grabs. Tickets will be available to purchase from Lancing Committee members at the game on Saturday and before the event commences.
The Rams started the month with a goalless draw at Burgess Hill Town but saw luck turn when Lewis Gard was shown a second yellow card and dismissed with moments to go. The run of red cards continued as the Rams travelled to Merstham on the 4th March where defender Joe Elull was dismissed just before the break, following the dismissal, Merstham went and scored in the 81st minute to find a late winner in a mid-week game that ended 3 goals to 2. Finally last weekend, Ramsgate were able to put 4 against a 10 man Eastbourne Town, including the 35th league goal of the season for Joe Taylor who has been the league top goal scorer over the last few seasons. The Rams currently sit 7 points clear at the top of the table but the Lancers will be bringing the noise to Culver Road and looking to shut them down and get back to winning ways.
