The club has received confirmation that it has successfully renewed its FA Charter Standard Community Club award for the forthcoming season.
We originally gained the highest-recognised status in early 2019, showing our commitment to senior & youth integration, community projects, inclusive teams including disability and womens squads, clear club structure & management and strict & up-to-date safeguarding & welfare checks, coaching certificates, first aid training and further FA qualifications for our coaches, physios and committee members.
We are delighted to have renewed our community status – a huge well done for the continued behind-the-scenes work from our committee and coaches that make this happen.
Our thanks as always must go to our loyal sponsors & supporters who support the club and allow us to progress from strength to strength, including main sponsor Gardner & Scardifield.
In his letter to the club, Tom Lee, National Leagues & Clubs Operations Manager for The FA wrote:
“Thank you for completing your club’s Annual Health Check. We’re delighted you have chosen to continue to deliver the highest standard of football. The accreditation certifies that your club upholds values that appeal to players, coaches, officials and supporters.
You’re one of the best places to play and enjoy football. ”
