Lancing Football Club look forward to welcoming fans back to the Culver Road stadium shortly.
We have been working tirelessly with the Sussex County FA facilities team to ensure that we can make the return of spectators as enjoyable & safe as possible.
Our Step 5 reduced crowd capacity stands at 150 spectators, with the hope to increase this when the FA Cup and league season begins in September.
With strict social distancing, hygiene measures, reduced capacity and test & trace, we plan to welcome back spectators on Tuesday 25th August for our home friendly against Isthmian side, Worthing.
Our fixture against Worthing will be subject to new safety measures in place to open our bar & refreshments servery, ensure test & trace compliance, strict measures to re-open the changing rooms, and subject to limited hospitality such as no hot food, and no half-time committee boardroom.
We plan to release 130 tickets for sale over the coming days. These will be £5 each and can be purchased via our ticket partners at TryBooking.
We will communicate to all home & away fans when tickets will go on sale, as soon as we know, over the coming days. The ticket site will go live for both home & away fans at the same time and will be on a first-come first-serve basis. These online tickets will help us to ensure a limit of 150 spectators, reduce queuing times, collect test & trace details with your ticket, and ensure stadium safety.
We are also updating all of our safety policies to ensure a safe return of spectators. These will also be uploaded to our website ahead of the fixture.
We look all set to open the refreshment facilities for takeaway hot & cold drinks with no indoor seating. Our stewards will be on hand throughout the match to guide spectators to standing positions and the limited stand seating, in as safe a manner as possible. Only people with tickets will be admitted, and if we are able to sell merchandise, this will be processed through our card machine on the evening.
Please note that the return of spectators is currently for Lancing FC home matches only, and for our first pilot match on Tuesday night. Training sessions are still behind-closed-doors as we can only ensure the maximum resources for crowd safety at first team home matches for now.
Other fixtures at Culver Road which are not under the jurisdiction of Lancing FC are still not currently allowed spectators.
