It’s football under the lights this evening as the Lancers face 4th placed Haywards Heath Town.

A 1-0 victory against Whitstable Town kick started the season for the Lancers, following a previous 4 defeats against tough opposition. A 9th minute goal by Bradley Campbell-Francis, followed by what was an entertaining display from the young yellows, proved to be too much for Whitstable to handle, in what could have been a 3-0 victory on another day. Lancing will have been reminded of their potential and deserved place at Step 4 after Saturday, and will look to use this renewed confidence against Heath on Tuesday.

Haywards Heath, previously top, are placed 4th following a 2-2 draw at VCD Athletic on Saturday. Beating the Lancers 4-0 in the Emirates FA Cup just 3 weeks ago, start-striker Jenson Dos Santos will be a dangerous player to watch once again, scoring twice in our previous encounter.
