Two early goals from Lancing wasn't enough, despite a fine double save from a penalty by Alieu Secka. Burgess Hill Town replied with two quick goals, and a third before the break which ended up being the winner. Burgess Hill defended well and kept the Lancers from changing the result. The day was marred with the unfortunate injury to the Lancers Marcus Allen who was stretchered off early in the match. We all wish him well and a speedy recovery.
