A good crowd witnessed a great encounter between two good sides. Lancing got a fantastic early strike from Reece Hallard inside two minutes. After the break Darius Goldsmith made it 2-0 which spurred the visitors on to fight back putting Lancing under immense pressure by making it 2-1. Another great strike late in the game from Reece Hallard secured the victory for the Lancers at 3-1
