Preview

On our last encounter there was no shortage of action at the More Than Tyres Stadium. The Hillians’ keeper – and former Lancer – Taylor Seymour was sent off after little more than 10 minutes of play, before Lancing looked like securing a 2-1 victory until Lewis Finney netted a last-minute equaliser against his former club.

Form guides would favour Burgess Hill as victors going into this fixture. Recent victories against Hythe Town (3-0) and Sevenoaks Town (3-1) evidence how much of an attacking threat our visitors can be. Lancing under Walsh and Louis also have a respectable form going into this fixture – wins against Three Bridges (4-3), Sevenoaks Town (3-2) and East Grinstead (2-0) are only dampened by narrow defeats in the last 5 against Corinthean (1-0) and Faversham Town (1-0). Home form on the Culver Road 3G and in front of a big home crowd will only advantage Lancing, as they look to upset things in Saturday’s clash between 16th and 7th in the table.

Kick-off is 3pm – entry is £10/5/2 cash & card with programmes and golden goal available at the turnstile. Bar & servery open throughout.
