Luis’ role will be to strengthen our development of talented young players into our highly-competitive first team squad, and work very closely with the first team management team.
It’s important for the lads who are over 18 to 23 to be given the opportunity to prove that they are knocking on the first team door.
The senior committee are extremely pleased to welcome on board Luis, with the wealth of enthusiasm, experience and qualifications as a UEFA B coach he brings to us.
On behalf of the committee, Steve Taylor says “Luis bridges the gap between the Under-23s and the first team. It’s important for the lads who are over 18 to 23 to be given the opportunity to prove that they are knocking on the first team door. This is whilst also promoting youth players into the Under-23s.”
